Changes to the data and the site
Whenever a figure or a page changes, it is recorded here — including the times we got it wrong.
Newest first · the record starts on 11 October 2026.
Published figures move. Without a record, a reader who saw 21 flagged plots last week and 39 today cannot tell a correction from a cover-up, so each entry says what changed and why.
Entries
- Site
This site presents the sustainability section only, so the previous landing page at /home was taken down; that address now leads to the front page.
- Site
The sustainability hub became the site's front page. /sustainability still answers as before, and the previous landing page moved to /home.
- Site
This changelog begins, alongside the data governance page and the assurance page.
- Correction
Corrected a privacy note claiming the map rounded coordinates to three decimals. It does not: we publish the coordinates as the register records them.
- Site
Sustainability hero photography replaced with images that show no identifiable face, under our PDPA practice, and fixed in the image files rather than covered with a CSS overlay.
- Site
Hid three sections that had no approved rows to show — farmer network data, purchasing data and livelihood impact. They return on their own once approved data exists.
- Data
Published further plot fields approved by management: gender, ethnic group, moo and the 250 m hotspot check, so the public plot popup now shows the same fields as the internal preview.
- Site
The hotspot map moved to a single-colour dot and gained an outline of the area the data covers, read from the database rather than written into the code.
- Data
The public endpoint now answers with all three sets: the plot register, the hotspot summary and hotspots for one map frame.
- Correction
Corrected the 250 m hotspot check from 21 plots to 39. The old figure measured distance on a flat plane; the new one measures along the earth's surface and matches the internal register.
- Data
Imported 385,757 NASA FIRMS detections for 1 January to 30 July 2026, covering latitude 15–21 and longitude 97–100.
