Hillkoff welcomed 131 students and lecturers from the network of nine Rajamangala Universities of Technology across Thailand on a study visit to the Hillkoff Integrated Hill Tribe Coffee Learning Centre in Chiang Mai.

The visit was part of
📌 the 13th Academic Skills Competition in Business Administration of the nine RMUTs
📌 the Smart Entrepreneurs Business Plan competition

It aimed to let students learn from a real coffee business case across the whole Coffee Value Chain:
🌱 Upstream – managing coffee plots, working with farmers and developing quality raw material
🏭 Midstream – processing, the roastery, standards systems and food safety management
☕ Downstream – adding value, developing products and running the business sustainably

The visit helped connect knowledge of business administration, innovation and the development of a new generation of entrepreneurs (Smart Entrepreneurs), letting students see real operations from the coffee-growing community to business management at industrial scale.

The students learned from
👩‍🌾 community leaders and organic coffee farmers
👩‍🌾 the Highland Research and Development Institute (Public Organization), Pang Ma-O
👩‍🌾 Hillkoff staff from many departments

Hillkoff thanks all the lecturers and students for their interest in learning about Thai coffee in terms of business, opportunity and sustainability — an important foundation for developing community economies and for the future growth of the Thai coffee industry.
