Another important step in raising Thai coffee standards towards sustainability.
Hillkoff welcomed a team from the National Bureau of Agricultural Commodity and Food Standards (ACFS) to pilot the project “Good Agricultural Practices for Coffee under Thai Agricultural Standard TAS 5709-2569 (2026)”.

The standard covers management practices across the whole coffee production process, including
🌿 management of the growing area
🌿 care of soil and water
🌿 control and reduction of the risk of chemical residues
🌿 harvesting and post-harvest processing
The purpose of the visit was to study the roastery's production system, analyse the gaps between actual working practice and the requirements of the standard, and draw up guidelines and a production control plan to improve the quality, safety and credibility of Thai coffee over the long term.
The project is another important collaboration between Hillkoff, government, farmers and private businesses in the coffee value chain, aimed at developing a Thai coffee production system that meets standards, can be traced, takes care of the environment and builds the confidence of consumers in Thailand and abroad.
Hillkoff remains committed to developing Thai coffee continuously, from upstream to downstream, to bring its quality to sustainable international standards.
